1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering on or using Samyak Matrimony ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

• You must be of legal marriageable age (18+ for women, 21+ for men in India).
• You must be unmarried, divorced, widowed, or legally separated.
• You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself.
• One person — one profile. Multiple/duplicate profiles will be deleted.

3. Profile Authenticity

You confirm that all information provided is true and accurate. Misrepresentation, fake photos, or impersonation results in immediate suspension. We reserve the right to verify any profile and request supporting documents.

4. Membership & Payments

• Free membership — limited features, basic search and express interest within daily quota
• Premium plans — Silver, Gold, Premium, Premium Plus, Elite tiers with full features
• All payments are processed securely through trusted payment gateways
• Premium membership is non-transferable and tied to a single profile
• Plan benefits, contacts and messages are valid only during active subscription

5. Refund Policy

All payments for premium memberships are non-refundable once the plan is activated. Please carefully review the plan details before purchasing. In case of accidental double-payment, contact our support team within 7 days for review.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Post obscene, abusive, defamatory or fraudulent content
• Harass, threaten or stalk other members
• Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) or promote external services
• Attempt to extract data, scrape profiles or use bots/automated tools
• Impersonate any person or organization
• Share your login credentials with anyone else
• Demand or offer money/dowry through the platform

7. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these terms — without notice and without refund. Reported profiles are reviewed by our moderation team. Severe violations may be reported to law enforcement.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account anytime from Settings → Account. Once deleted, your data is permanently erased within 7 days and cannot be recovered. Active premium memberships are forfeited on deletion.

9. No Guarantee of Marriage

Samyak Matrimony is a platform for connecting prospective life partners. We do NOT guarantee that you will find a match, get engaged, or marry through this platform. Compatibility, decision-making and final marriage arrangements rest solely with you and your family.

10. Limitation of Liability

While we make every effort to verify profiles, Samyak Matrimony cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, fraud or harm arising from interactions with other members. Always verify identity independently before in-person meetings or financial commitments.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform — design, logos, graphics, software — is the property of Samyak Matrimony and protected under copyright laws. You may not reproduce, copy or redistribute without written permission.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Thane, Maharashtra.
