Overview

Samyak Matrimony ("we", "us", "our") is a Buddhist matrimony service operated by Samyak Vadhuvar Suchak Kendra, Thane, Maharashtra. We offer free and paid membership plans to help members find a suitable life partner. This Refund Policy describes the conditions under which refunds may or may not be issued for paid memberships.

Free Registration

Basic registration on Samyak Matrimony is completely free of charge. No payment is required to create a profile, browse limited profiles, or receive interest notifications. No refund applies to the free tier.

Paid Membership Plans

We offer various Premium membership plans (monthly, quarterly, annual) that unlock additional features such as full contact visibility, unlimited messaging, and priority placement. Payment for these plans is collected in advance.

• All membership plan fees are non-refundable once the premium features have been activated and made available to the member.
• Membership duration begins on the date of successful payment confirmation.
• Membership plans are non-transferable and linked to the registered account only.
• We do not pro-rate refunds for unused days if you choose to close your account early.

Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds will be considered only in the following situations:

• Duplicate payment — if you were charged twice for the same plan due to a technical error.
• Plan not activated — if your payment was successful but premium features were never enabled within 48 hours.
• Wrong amount charged — if you were charged an amount different from the published plan price.

In any of the above cases, please contact us within 7 days of the payment date with your payment receipt or transaction ID.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

• Change of mind after activating a premium plan.
• Failure to find a match within the membership period.
• Account suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms & Conditions.
• Dissatisfaction with the number or quality of profiles available.
• Requests made after 7 days from the payment date.

Refund Process

If your refund request is approved, the amount will be credited back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. The exact timeline may vary depending on your bank or payment gateway.

Plan Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops any future auto-renewal but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period already paid.
